Ingredients
Cabbage steaks
  • 1 red cabbage (any cabbage will do)
Chili miso sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sambal oelek (or other chili sauce)
  • 1.5 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon agave syrup (or other sweetener)
  • 1 tablespoon white miso (or other miso)
  • 1.5 tablespoon tamari sauce (or soy sauce)
Instructions
Cabbage steaks

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.

  2. Wash cabbage.

  3. Slice cabbage into roughly one inch rounds.

  4. Lay cabbage steaks on baking sheet and roast for 15 minutes.

Chili miso sauce

  1. In a bowl, combine ingredients together completely.

  2. Drizzle sauce on cabbage steaks to taste.

  3. (Optional) Garnish with sesame seeds.
