Hi! I’m Nina. Welcome to Up As I Go.

This is where I keep track of what I’m making and figuring out. Right now that’s a mix of 3D printing, laser cutting, smart home tinkering, small automations, and the systems that keep a busy household running. There are also board games, plenty of them.

I’ve always liked taking a problem apart and trying to make it work better, whether that’s a shelf, a routine, or a whole project for the neighborhood, like our Little Free Puzzle Library. Some things work the first time. Plenty don’t. I share both.

You’ll find build notes, game night ideas, and the occasional experiment. A few of my older recipe posts are still here too, for anyone who stumbled in through those.
